Where Have All the Heroes Gone?

America never quite had firm and fixed class distinctions, such as those which were evident in the European nations which fed our colonies and founding states. Our early rhetoric–and our ensuing ownership of its implications, instead worked in the opposite direction. Now that we have succumbed to egalitarian rhetoric and convictions, now that we have exchanged Christian culture and its worldview for the leveling drone of successive “isms,” we don’t even notice, let alone catalogue the cost levied on our society, even though everyone is paying it.

One such unnoticed alteration that YOU wanted. It’s what you still want, if you’re brave enough to tell your mirror the truth. Punk.
